TM Streamyx is one of the most widely used wired broadband service in Malaysia. It’s offered by TM Net, the largest fixed line broadband provider in Malaysia.
TM Net was established in 1995 by Telekom Malaysia Berhad as part of Malaysia National Broadband Plan. The original Streamyx broadband internet service was launched in April 2001 at speed of 384 kbits per second. In June 2997, TM Net launched it’s 4 mbps service at selected locations, which was the fastest speed available during then.
